ABOUT THE FOUNDER - SEEMA GUPTA
Some businesses are built in boardrooms. Toylura was built on a road. It was an ordinary day when Seema Gupta was travelling to her parental home. Through the car window, she noticed a young child standing outside a toy shop, eyes fixed on a small aeroplane, feet not moving, hope not fading. She stopped and asked him what he wanted. He told her he loved that aeroplane but did not have enough money to buy it. That one moment changed everything. Seema did not just buy him the toy and drive away. She carried that child’s wish with her and turned it into a brand. Toylura was born from that exact moment, from the quiet resolve of a woman who decided that no child should ever have to walk away from something that could spark their imagination.
But Seema Gupta was already no stranger to building things from scratch. With over five years of entrepreneurial experience across multiple business verticals including apparel and lifestyle, she had long proven that she had the instincts, the resilience and the vision to run successful ventures. She is a certified Mobile Numerologist, a 3D Hand Casting Business professional and a Business Advisor associated with Dr. Vivek Bindra at Bada Business, one of India’s most respected business platforms. Her recognition at the UPPSC Interview level reflects a woman who has consistently shown up, levelled up and never settled. Today she runs Toylura with a dedicated team of five, managing everything from product curation to customer experience with the same personal attention she has given every business she has ever built. And woven into Toylura’s core from day one is a CSR commitment that ensures a part of every rupee earned reaches the underprivileged children of India, because for Seema, this was never only about business. It was always about the child on that road, and every child like him. Toylura is her most meaningful chapter yet. And she is only just beginning.
